At Layups 4 Life, our mission has always been to fight cancer ‘one layup at a time’. As a cancer survivor, Layups 4 Life’s founder Dan Exter made it his personal mission to be an advocate in the fight against this disease and 11 years and $200,000 later, our success is deeply rooted in the support received by our community. As we put a close to 2024, we want to acknowledge the generosity of our donors as we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised $10,000 supporting cancer research and clinical trials! These funds will go directly toward our continued efforts in advancing lifesaving treatments and offering hope to those battling this devastating disease.
Whether you played in one of our tournaments, donated to our cause, or simply helped spread the word, we want to make sure the L4L community is aware of the tangible difference they are making in the fight against cancer. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you.

Looking Ahead – Two New Dates Locked In for Spring 2025!
As we celebrate this success, we’re also excited to announce two major events coming in 2025 that you won’t want to miss.
Annual Golf Outing – Friday April 25th, 2025 – Galloping Hill Golf Course (Kenilworth, NJ) Tee up for a day of fun, camaraderie, and fundraising at our Annual Golf Outing this April. This event has quickly become a community favorite, combining the love of the sport with the opportunity to make a difference. Expect stunning greens, great company, and exciting contests—all for a great cause.
Pickleball Tournament (NEW)– Saturday May 17th, 2025 – Pickleball Palace (Whippany, NJ) We’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new event to the Layups 4 Life lineup: our inaugural Pickleball Tournament! This fast-growing sport has captured hearts across the nation, and we’re bringing it to our supporters this May. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a curious beginner, this tournament promises a fun-filled day of competition and community.
